With over 20 years of event planning, Marie Rios, Event Producer of MTR Event Design loves creating amazing experiences for her clients in Sonoma, Napa and the greater SF Bay Area.  I have created hundreds of weddings, corporate events, concerts and non-profit fundraisers, am an expert Event Planner and truly have a passion in helping people like you turn your goals into reality with a beautiful and amazing wedding.

I grew up in the Bay Area and along with many years of event planning I have developed strong relationships with some of the best professionals in the industry.  My goal is always to make sure my clients get the best value from the service partners they hire and help them build a great team.

I love learning and co-founded The Bay Area Wedding Network in 2000 for hospitality professionals to better educate and learn from one another.  I also like to learn new trends so I continue to stay engaged in learning what is new in the industry.

When I’m not planning weddings or events you will find me hiking trails in the Bay Area, experimenting with healthy recipes that are easy and taste great or doing something fun with my son.
